Our weapons program incorporates the four ancient weapons styles of the Ryukyu Islands which are Matayoshi Kobudo, Ryukyu Kobudo, Ufuchiku Kobudo, and Yamani Ryu Kobudo.  You, as a student, will learn a lost art through the utilization of the bo (6' staff), sai (metal pronged blade), tonfa (wooden baton), and nunchaku.  As a weapons student at GRKV you will develop increased strength, improved coordination, a better awareness, and the knowledge of how to defend yourself utilizing common household items.
